KASOTC's 3rd Annual Warrior Competition & Exhibition

The 3^rd Annual Warrior Competition and Exhibition will be held at King Abdullah Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) in Amman, Jordan during the week of May 8^th-11^th, 2011. The event will be hosted by KASOTC and the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF). A combination of military units and law enforcement task forces will test their skills against one another in this highly competitive competition. Additionally, corporate contractors from across the globe will showcase their state of the art training tools, weapons, and technology in a completely transparent environment. 

The Warrior Completion combines team and individual events highlighting a diverse array of special warfare skills. Participants will put their training to the test in a multitude of intense competitions that challenge marksmanship, physical stamina, precision, leadership capabilities, and more. Team exercises include the Precision Rifle Event (marksmanship), Methods of Entry and SMG/Carbine Event (combination of team communication, precision, and endurance), Precision Pistol Event (marksmanship), CT Par-Course Event (situational awareness and stamina), Tower Run Event (climbing skills), and the King’s Challenge (combination of all team events). Individuals will showcase their skills in the Steel Challenge Event (speed and pistol accuracy) and the Obstacle Course Shoot (speed and pistol accuracy).

Beginning this year, the Warrior Competition will host weapons and equipment vendors from all over the world. The vendors will exhibit their cutting edge products to all participants and attendees. While dynamic training is imperative to establishing preparedness in an unconventional fight, furnishing soldiers with the best weapons and equipment is vital to guaranteeing success.

There is no doubt that the demand for effective special warfare tactics continues to rise as the war on terror intensifies. Competitors from twenty different tactical units will participate in group and individual competitions that allow attendees to understand that precision, stealth, and expertise is crucial to winning an unconventional war. The Warrior Competition serves as a bridge that connects warriors from all corners of the world. It sets a foundation for current relations and is a step towards winning the war on terror.
