Manager Administration/Human

Reports to: Program
Manager
Primary Purpose:
This position is responsible for building and maintaining
Human Resource strategies, policies, and practices that
reinforce strategic objectives to help KASOTC’s
long term success.
Essential Functions:
- Recruitment assistance
- Create new or edit existing
position descriptions
- Assemble packages for Management
approval
- Communicate with managers
to ensure their needs are met
- Process reassignments, retirements,
and resignations
- Assist managers in the development
of annual performance plans
- Coordinate with budget office
for reimbursement activity
- Other duties as assigned
or required
Required Education/Experience:
Masters degree preferred. Must display substantial,
documented experience in a management position involving
the coordination of diverse logistical and support activities.
Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred,
with clear understanding of resource capacity and coordination
issues involved with running a major training center.
Must have excellent skills in management techniques,
budgeting, counseling, business planning, organization,
and systems design. Must have at least six years of
progressively more responsible experience in all phases
of personnel administration, with managerial experience
a plus. Must be familiar with current laws and regulations
regarding employers’ and employees’ rights
and obligations.
