Manager Customer Support

Reports to: KASOTC Director General

Primary Purpose: This position is responsible for the coordination of the training support staff for delivery of seamless training operations on the KASOTC facility. The over all responsibility of this position is to direct staff in achieving complete customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions: Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Directs, supervises, and manages all training support related activities. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Lodging and Housekeeping
    • Food Service
  • Ensures all training areas receive the support they need to be maintained in a safe and workable environment
  • Ensures procedures are established for maintaining the accountability of all training support activities.
  • Directs the training support personnel as required.
  • Ensures all inter-company services are coordinated to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Monitors contract cost and the financial limitations of all training service contracts.
  • Ensures sufficient numbers of support personnel are qualified to meet the demands of the training schedule.
  • Enforces all KASOTC policies.
  • Coordinates events for special projects and visitors.
  • Provides input to proposals.
  • Ensures operating procedures are established, which provides the most cost efficient methods of operating.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Required Education/Experience: Must display substantial, documented experience in a management position involving the coordination of diverse logistical and support activities. Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred, with clear understanding of resource capacity and coordination issues involved with running a major training center. Must have four years of practical experience supervising support personnel. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to understand, review and submit financial reports.
