His Majesty King Abdullah II visits KASOTC and ViaGlobal training instructors

The longstanding relationship between ViaGlobal and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan was demonstrated when King Abdullah II paid a visit to the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) in Amman on October 22^nd, 2010. King Abdullah II was accompanied by members of his staff and escorted by Major General Gary Harrell (retired), the General Director of KASOTC during the visit. Although King Abdullah II and General Harrell meet periodically, the visit to KASOTC proved significant in fostering stronger ties and an ongoing relationship between ViaGlobal and the Jordanian government.

ViaGlobal sent a twenty-four man Mobile Training Team (MTT) to prepare the Jordanian Task Force for its upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. One hundred and fifty Jordanian soldiers and officers participated in advanced weapons and combat operations training from October 17^th through November 13^th at the KASOTC facility. During the visit, ViaGlobal staff displayed all components of the KASOTC facility and demonstrated the importance of the specialized training being conducted. 

At the conclusion of the visit, King Abdullah II underscored his commitment to the ViaGlobal/KASOTC partnership. He commended the mission of conducting crucial pre-deployment training and teaching state of the art counterterrorism tactics. The observation of the Jordanian TF training on October 22^nd was monumental in facilitating a sustained relationship between ViaGlobal and the country of Jordan. ViaGlobal looks forward to more opportunities to showcase its training and capabilities in the near future.
